One year ago,
a little seed started to grow.

It grew fast, it really did,
and we promised to take care of it.

We had our ups, we were happy,
but our mood wasn’t always that steady.

We had our downs, we were sad,
but in the end it wasn’t that bad.

Because we haven’t been alone, we were together,
and we will stay like that, yes indeed, forever.

And now look at our seed, just look at it!
It has become really tall, hasn’t it?

But not only our seed, look around!
A bunch of people, a real high amount.

We’ve all cared, we’ve tried it a whole awful lot.
We’re trying to make things better, with all the love we’ve got.

I was at Islands Of Adventure today and it had been raining most of the day. It was cloudy and a bit dreary. Then I passed the Lorax section of Seuss Landing and I just HAD to take pictures.

I love the original Lorax book and television special and I used to watch it all the time as a kid.The songs from it have been stuck in my head all day!

I really do adore that second picture. Great forced perspective. You would’ve thought it was a full-sized house.

Now the only hurdle left to jump is how I can get my parents to tolerate my sister and I going on a ten minute photography spree while they stand in the middle of Seuss Landing…
